With the professional Plug & Play solution, a qualified electrician connects classic PV systems and home storage systems from 1kW to 70kW without interfering with the existing electrical system. This saves time and effort - for your customers too. In short: Plug & Play for professionals.
Are your customers unable or unwilling to lay an AC cable and signal cable from the inverter to the grid connection point? With the Wattster system, you save your customers having to make changes to their home electrics and integrate systems and home storage units into the existing AC grid in 60 minutes. Once the components (PV modules, inverter, Wattster, bridge and energy meter) have been physically installed and wired, it takes less than five minutes with the Wattster app - and the system is ready for operation.
Wattster as an active energy management system makes it possible to use existing lines for the feed-in. The Wattster connected to the inverter continuously protects the feed-in line used against overload and - if desired as a self-consumption system - also ensures that zero feed-in is maintained. This makes it possible to feed in locally generated electricity far beyond the previous limits of plug-in solar solutions safely and in compliance with standards.
Connected to the inverter, Wattster regulates the feed into an existing line thanks to SIMPLUG technology. This ensures overload protection at all times in the event of a feed behind the fuse.
The AC connection to the domestic grid can be implemented either with CE plugs (1- or 3-phase) or as wiring in sub-distribution boxes or directly at the grid feed-in point.
There is no need to lay an AC cable from the inverter to the grid feed-in point or RS485 cabling to the energy meter. The bridge, a wireless energy monitor developed by Wattando, provides the necessary data from the domestic grid.
The SIMPLUG feed-in technology developed by Wattando is the guarantor for safe feed-in into existing lines downstream of the overload protection: Wattster continuously evaluates the load profile of the domestic grid for this purpose and regulates the feed-in according to relevant parameters.
Wattster will be available in three variants: The first provides for single-phase feed-in from 1 kW to 7 kW, the second variant for three-phase feed-in from 3 kW up to 11 kW. The third planned version, Wattster 3XL, enables a feed-in of 11 kW up to 70 kW.
Wattster meets the electrotechnical specifications for potential overload in the house network.
Zero feed, netmetering and peak shaving - Wattster enables different feed-in profiles.
Fulfils country-specific specifications for a feeder behind the fuse.
"Wattster Home" for your customers offers a quick look at generation and consumption with the energy monitor
For the solar system on the garden shed, on the carport or on the roof: the existing household socket is replaced by an energy supply socket. This is a matter of five minutes for a skilled person. Apart from the noninvasive attachment of the bridge to the house network, there is no need for further intervention in the electrical installation. (In Germany, the feed into one phase is limited to a maximum of 4.6kW).
As soon as a three-phase power connection (CEE plug) is available or planned, Wattster enables the pluggable integration of solar systems from 3 kW to 70 kW. For outputs above 11 kW, there will be the WATTSTER XL solution. Interesting for private households but also especially for commercial properties.
Great that you want to find out more about the new Wattster systems. The systems from the second production run are currently on their way to the warehouse. This means that we will soon be able to deliver again.
As a commercial customer: Send us your contact details using the form and we will contact you to arrange an appointment for a telephone call or video conference.
As a private individual: Of course, we also welcome interest from private individuals. Wattster systems can only be purchased and installed by professionals. However, we will be happy to inform you as soon as Wattster systems are offered by installation companies in your area. (Please enter your zip code in the comments section, thank you).
Because it's easier and faster, installation companies can plan differently:
- less time for the electrician on site,
- put more customer systems into operation per day,
- or meet demand from new customer groups; for example, tenants, homeowners or tradespeople (for whom the effort for classic installation is too high or not possible).
Or: Setting up your own "plug-and-play" installation team? Clear! This is one of the many options that result from the simplified integration with Wattster.
Send us your e-mail address, an indication of your area of interest and we will inform you as soon as the Wattster is available or there are further news from Wattando.
